My family stayed there for a week last summer and had a great time. The owners pay great attention to the facilities. We did not use the freshwater pond at the camp ground, but we did take advantage of the saltwater fishing from the dock at the camp ground. Fishing was good. Good size spots and very clean. The only issue was we had a gully washer come through for 30 minutes, which did leave standing water in 6 campsites near the front of the office. It did drain off in a couple of hours, but that was the only observation I had that was somewhat of a concern, had we had items on the ground. All and all a great experience for those that want to lay around and do a whole lot of nothing at the campsite or for those that plan to venture out, you are close to Houston and Galveston and all of the amenities.
