Good Base for the UP Experience

The campground is fairly open, clean, and centrally located. We were only 10 or 15 minutes from Tahquamenon Falls, another 20 minutes to the shipwreck museum, and a little more than an hour to Munising for the Pictured Rocks. Cathy Clementz was a fantastic hostess and always willing to chat about things in the area. We were there for a relatively quiet few days, as occupancy was pretty low. We actually didn't spend a lot of time at camp, as we'd never been to the UP and wanted to see some sights.
