Great experience in Grapevine!
0 % of users found this review helpful
We were not sure what to expect, but me and my sister LOVED staying in the two person cabin here. The cabin was very clean and had everything we could possibly need for an enjoyable visit. We loved sitting out on the deck in the evening and especially enjoyed meeting all the RV campers and the staff. Everyone was very friendly and we felt very safe there. I have stayed at some very fancy hotels in Grapevine, which was a good experience, but next time I return, I will be staying here again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Best in North Texas

Great place to camp. Full hookups. Very clean. Lots of fun things to do. Close to Grapevine and Southlake. We like to call it urban camping. When your at the campground you don't feel like your in the city, but all the amenities of the city are only minutes away.

Great kayaking adventures
0 % of users found this review helpful
Our family recently stayed in our travel trailer here at The Vineyards Campground. We stayed for 3 nights in a very nice paved, level site with full hook ups. Overall we had a great first visit here. It was very easy to launch our kayaks and explore many tributaries to the lake that were sheltered from the wind, and with lots of wild life to see in the water and on the land. Some sites had lots of trees, but near the water there are no shade trees. So unless you have an awning, you might bring a canopy for warmer times of the year. The park was very clean and quiet even with almost every site taken on a gorgeous Spring weekend. Our kids loved the play ground and the multitude of ducks and geese to feed. Since we did not have to pay extra per person for our larger family, we felt like this was a great value for the cost. We will return for more kayaking adventures for sure. This time we'll bring the camera in the kayaks!

Five Star Rating

We recenlty stayed at The Vineyards, the staff was very professional, the location was great, and the campground was both clean and safe. We generally do not comment on campdrounds, but this campground deserved a 5 out 5.

Most Relaxing Week
0 % of users found this review helpful
Our seven night visit here at The Vineyards Campground in Grapevine, TX has proven to be one of the most relaxing weeks my wife and I have had in a year or so. The sites are unbelieveably generous in size and there is not a bad site in the park. We were given a pull through that placed our motor home parallel to beautiful Grapevine lake. This section of the park is on a small peninsula with maybe 12 sites and each one offers a great view from front, back and both sides. We especially loved the concrete parking pad, patio and large wooden deck right on the water. All roads are paved and great for bicycling around the park. Wild ducks, Herons, Geese and other land birds were abundant and we took hundreds of pictures. I captured pictures of a blue heron catching and swallowing a 5 to 6 inche long fish. It is a 45 minute ride to the Justin Boot Outlet in Fort Worth and my wife and I purchased two pair each since we both typically have difficulty in finding our sizes we were way excited about this. Friends from Denton (30 minutes away) had diner with us one night and also fell in love with this City owned facility. We have been RV'ing for 10 years but only full time for the past year and a half. We travel with our four "canine dependents" and they had great fun here as well. We can honestly say The Vinyards has set a new standard of excellence for all of us.

This has to be one of the nicest places we have stayed. I wish I lived closer so I could visit more often. Next time I am going to stay at one of the cabins.
